Stephen’s Green

arch-3

We call this one “the green mile” and it’s one of our favourite tours.
Pass through the Fusilier’s Arch (or Traitor’s Gate) and you’re in Dublin’s urban oasis; one of the most beautiful city parks in the world.

Colourful flowers, ornate fountains, majestic swans, peace and tranquillity.

And it’s steeped in history too: frequented by famous writers W.B. Yeats and James Joyce, occupied during the 1916 Rising, world wars, and for a long time it was a private garden for wealthy city residents.
But that all changed thanks to the most famous Irish man of all…..

There is so much more to see here than you think.

Tour starts at the main entrance at the top of Grafton street.
