River Liffey

starry-starry-night

Dublin would not be here without the Liffey, it’s the source of everything in the city
including Dublin’s two names. It has seen invasions, battles, uprisings and economic booms. Along this tour you’ll see how important the river has been in the development of this great city.

This unique walking tour will take you from the iconic Ha’penny Bridge,
past James Gandon’s magnificent Customs house to the new financial district
and the modern Grand Canal Square, passing famous landmarks along the way.

The River Liffey walking tour has beautiful views all the way and is even more spectacular after dark!

Tour starts at Capel Street Bridge.

(Please note the tour itself is One Hour but you may need to allow 10/15 mins to walk back to the city centre)
