The music of John Prine lovingly presented in the most unique, intimate of settings at our 150 year old converted primary school building
The Appreciation Society is currently in its second season of unique music performances held at the Irish Folk Music school in Glenisland, Castlebar, Co Mayo.
Each month our music teachers will present their favourite songs of their favourite recording artists in their own style with a variety of traditional instruments.
Up next on Saturday the 4th of February 2023 is the late great John Prine. Hugely popular in Ireland having lived in Galway in his later life, John Prine is celebrated not only among fans but also lauded by his peers with the likes of Bob Dylan, Kriss Kristofferson and Johnny Cash singling him out for praise.
The John Prine Appreciation Society is a one night only event, so get your tickets straight away to avoid missing out.
There is no alcohol at this event but freshly brewed coffee, tea and goodies will be provided.
Tickets are very limited as we are performing in an actual 150 year old classroom.
Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8pm.
